Prairie Village

Prairie Village is a living history museum located west of the city of Madison. Founders wanted to preserve buildings, equipment, lifestyles and methods of bygone days. Prairie Village was built next to the railroad as was common for most prairie towns. All of the buildings at the village are turn-of-the-century buildings from area towns.
