Remediation

Solving Story Problems Home Page

Unless a perfect score was obtained, all students have a chance to improve their scores.  Students can go back and rework problems to show improved understanding of the concepts.  Students will be given back the original assessment to demonstate improvement in areas in which they are weak.  Students can only increase one letter grade compared to the first time the assessment was given.

Students should review skills learned in the unit and work through the practice problems again.  Students may also be given worksheets and other forms of practice from the teacher.  The teacher will assist with remediation on an individual and a group basis.
